Why is sustainable development important to you?
"Global society is now changing very rapidly. If we do not evolve to a sustainable society we will not have any society at all. Millions around the world are working for this new emergent society and I am one of them."

What does being a London Leader mean to you?
"Being a London Leader helps me to meet and interact with others who are thinking the same way and to pool our resources, knowledge and experience to help educate and influence more people about this very important issue."

Past experience
In the past I lived without money. 35 years ago I also built an Anaerobic Digester system and a vertical axis windmill. And from this I built a business, Alara Wholefoods:

• First cereal company in the world to be certified organic.
• First food company to be zero waste
• First cereal company to produce Fairtrade cereals
